Look at the top right corner of the page, and you will see a toolbar with the following buttons:
The sidebar has four collapsible panels: New node, Private information selection, Players and private information, and Node properties. You may find it helpful to collapse the panels you are not currently using.
To create a new node, drag and drop one of the boxes onto the game tree canvas.
To connect nodes, hover over an input or output until the black dot gets bigger, and then drag it to another node’s input or output and drop it when the black dot gets bigger.
This panel shows each player’s range of private information (also known as private items). Each player also has an “Overall” option. If you have the “Overall” option selected, the expected values and strategies you see in the game tree will be the overall expected values and average strategies for that player. If you have one of the private items selected, the expected values and strategies you see in the game tree will be for that player given the selected private item. To see the expected values and strategies for a player’s entire range of private information, you can open the “Node details” for the node you are interested in.
This panel lets you add or remove players, rename players, and change each player’s range of private information.

This panel will be blank until you select a node. Once you select a node, you will see the properties for that node. You can learn more about the different node types at the following links:
Click the Calculator button on the canvas toolbar to calculate the optimal solution and the expected value for the game tree. If you have a node selected, the calculator will only calculate the solution for that node and its children. Otherwise, the calculator will calculate the solution for the entire game tree.
Once you have calculated a solution, you can click the Node details button in the upper right corner of any node to see details about the solution for that node.
